Providing a home away from home in Roanoke for families
of critically ill children for 25 years
The eighteen bedroom House provides lodging for families of pediatric patients who must travel at least 25 miles to Roanoke for medical treatment. The House has a living room, dining room and kitchen area for families, laundry facilities, and a toy room. Internet access is available. Each night, dinner is prepared and served by volunteer groups. A referral from a doctor's office, hospital nurse or social worker is required.
